or prediction-market environment.
Current sports bets such as Total (Over/Under) bets, Proposition bets, Parlays, Teasers, If bets, Future wagers, Head to-Head, Half bets, In-play betting and Totalizators (like pari-mutuel wagering in horse racing) do not offer million-dollar prizes for little money.
This scoring-based competition framework allows operators to design new cross-sport engagement formats for their platforms. Prize structures are fully participant-funded and configurable by the licensed operator, allowing flexible jackpot formats without fixed-liability exposure, and the particularity of having the opportunity to obtain benefits throughout the sporting competition(s) while these are carried out are unique characteristics of this betting model (sports competition).
